Simple Toothbrush Tips That May Save Your Teeth
Your toothbrush is a simple tool, but still requires special care.
1. Don’t Become Too Fond Of Your Toothbrush
Buy a new toothbrush every 3-4 months, or before if you find the bristles worn out.
2. Don’t Put That Toothbrush Away Too Quickly
Leave it out in the open to air dry.
3. Be Careful Where You Put It
Don’t leave it too near the toilet whether you are air drying it or putting it away. Every time you flush, bacteria can travel through the air.
4. Don’t Share
It’s easy to transfer germs via toothbrush. Keep a couple extra on hand for those unexpected times.
5. Take Your Time Rinsing Your Toothbrush
Take care to remove all the food from your toothbrush. Those dirty particles of food can further hurt the enamel of your teeth.
